Cub Scout Pack 673!

We are a Catholic Cub Scout Pack chartered by St. Cecilia Catholic Church.

We are open to boys and girls in Kindergarten to 5th grade, and welcome Scouts and their families from all schools and faiths to join our Pack.

REGISTRATION AND DUES

Annual Pack Dues: Our Annual Pack Dues are $200 per Scout. However, the dues alone do not cover the costs required to run our Pack. Thus, every family is expected to participate in our Scout fundraisers in order to cover the full cost of participation for their Scout(s). Each fundraiser will establish a quota for each Scout. If the quota is not met, the families will be required to pay the cash amount of the remaining quota to the Pack at the conclusion of the event. For more information,

Note that any Annual Registration Fees paid directly to the BSA are separate from the Annual Pack Dues! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us for more information at shacpack673@gmail.com.

Annual Registration: All Scouts (returning and new) must complete all registration items shown below at the start of every school year.

  • For All Scouts (returning, new and transferring):

    • Click here to complete the Annual Pack Registration form and pay dues

    • BSA Health Form Part A/B (click the link to access the form)

    • Current copy of Immunization Record

    • Current copy of Health Insurance Card (front and back)

    • If your Scout was registered as part of the Pack last year, then we only need the above and you are done!

    • If your Scout is a a new Scout, or returning Scout that was NOT registered last year, or is transferring from another unit, please see additional items below

  • Former Pack 673 Scout ONLY if they were not registered last year:

    • Former Pack 673 Scouts that wish re-enroll in Pack 673 should click here and select the Youth application and then "current / former Scout" in order to re-register with the BSA. If you do not remember the Scout's BSA number, click the help icon to look it up.

    • If you aren't sure if your Scout was registered last year, please contact us to verify

  • New Scout (never registered in the BSA before):

    • All new scouts must click here to complete the BSA Youth Application

(Note that national BSA fees and a first time registration fees paid directly to the BSA through this application are in addition to the Annual Pack Dues.)

  • Transferring Scouts from another unit:

    • Existing scouts that wish to transfer into Pack 673 must click here and select the Youth application and then "current / former Scout" in order to complete the transfer application. If you do not remember the Scout's BSA number, click the help icon to look it up.


Scoutbook: To find out how to use Scoutbook click here to view our Scoutbook Guide (Note: The payment functionality within Scoutbook as referenced in this guide is currently deactivated. Please see above for information on how to pay your dues).


Uniforms: Uniforms are an important part of our Scout identity. Parents are responsible for purchasing the Scout uniform, including a Pack t-shirt ($10), which can be purchased directly from the Pack at Re-registration / Rally Night on August 28th. More details on what parts of the uniform the Pack provides and what parts the parents need to purchase can be found here. Please look at the link prior to purchasing your uniform, as there is a lot of helpful information there!

Adult Leaders Needed: We are in need of the following adult leaders. If you are able to volunteer, we would greatly appreciate it. Many hands makes light work and the Pack can not run without volunteers. Also, if you would like to help out, but your skillsets aren't a fit for the roles below, we could still use your help! If you would like to take on any of these roles or volunteer in another way, please email us at shacpack673@gmail.com or reach out directly to any of our leaders to discuss!

  • Den Leader Positions Needed:

    • Boy Den Leaders: Lion and Tiger Dens

    • Girl Den Leaders: All Dens except Wolf

    • Assistant Den Leaders: All Dens (Boy and Girl)

Fundraisers

Please see the links (will be provided soon) below to fundraisers. All families are expected to meet a quota (will be set soon) or be required to pay the Pack a cash payment (will be set soon) to remain in good standing.

Online sales only! Set up your Scouts sales page, share it on social media or by email and let it sell itself! The best part is that the popcorn is shipped straight to the buyers door! A LINK will be provided soon.

All Scouts are expected to participate and sell a minimum of 10 racks of ribs. A LINK will be provided soon.
